The year has four seasons and twelve months. Spring, summer, autumn and winter are seasons.

Spring months are March, April and May. Early spring is cold. Late spring is green and bright. Children play games in the parks and in the woods. They love spring. Birds sing their songs. You can see young little birds in the nests.

Summer is a beautiful season. You can see the sun in the clear blue sky. The days are long, hot and nice. Children do not go to school. They love to swim in lakes and ponds, play football, tennis and ping-pong, ride their bikes. You can see bright flowers in flowerbeds, purple and yellow, pink and red, blue and white.

Autumn has three months — September, October and November. September is beautiful. You can say it is yellow, orange and red. The days are not hot but they are pleasant. Children are at school again. They are happy to meet their friends and teachers. You can see a lot of apples in the trees. But late autumn is not pleasant. It is grey and cold.
