All members of our family love travelling. Especially we love boat trips. Two years ago we decided to buy a houseboat. So we have already lived in the houseboat for two years. I am happy!

There are only two bedrooms, a small living room, a kitchen and a bathroom in our houseboat. But the rooms are very cosy and romantic. I like to dream about the sea and ships. We have electricity but we buy fresh water. Our house is far from my school. I have to go there by bicycle. It takes me half an hour to get to school but I like it. I'd like to live here all my life but my mother thinks that it is better to live in an ordinary house.

Some years ago we lived in a caravan in summer. There were good and bad things about living in the caravan. On the one hand, we lived in a beautiful area. There were some shops, a cinema and a bus station near our caravan park. We had TV and the Internet. On the other hand, there was only one room and a place where we cooked. We had electricity there but there was no running water or central heating. It was difficult to wash our clothes and do the dishes. I have been happy since we bought a small summerhouse near the lake. Now we have all modern conveniences and bedrooms for everyone in the family.
