COPING WITH STRESS

Stress can affect anyone at any time. It is the body's response to a situation which is challenging or threatening. This response can be helpful at times: positive stress 1___ you to meet deadlines or survive physical danger 2___ producing motivation and energy. However, when you are under intense pressure, you may experience the symptoms of negative stress.

Apart from a major trauma like an accident or the death of someone close, not many events are stressful in themselves.
