A New Friend

Alice: You know, Susie, I have a new friend.

Susie: Is it a girl or a boy?

Alice: A girl. Her name is Brenda. She comes from a big family. She has two brothers and a sister.

Susie: How old are they? What do they do?

Alice: Brenda’s brothers are fourteen. They are twins. They love sports very much. They can ride bikes, play volleyball and football and are very good footballers. They are interested in photography too and dream about going to university. I know they would like to become businessmen.

Susie: And what do Brenda’s parents do?

Alice: Her mother’s name is Rose and she is a nurse in a hospital. But she is a university student too. She wants to become a doctor. Brenda’s father is a doctor. He works in the same hospital.

Susie: And what about Brenda’s sister? Is she a pupil? Does she go to our school?

Alice: No, she doesn’t. She is a little girl and now she is staying with her great-grandparents in the country.
