Text one.

The Volgograd State Medical University has a long tradition of medical training. It is situated in the centre of the city. The University works together with the World Health Organization. It has contacts with many foreign universities and participates in international programs with Belgium, France, Germany and the USA. The university has four educational buildings and five large hospitals. Since nineteen sixty-two, the university has been training foreign students from eighty-five countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

The People's Friendship University of Russia was founded for the benefit of Asian, African and Latin American countries. Today it has a student population which comes from one hundred seven countries of the world. The university's medical faculty is one of the oldest. It trains doctors in the main disciplines of medicine. In nineteen sixty, the university began training children's doctors which was a great achievement as it was the first department of this kind in the world.

Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod was founded on the seventeenth January nineteen sixteen as one of three people's universities of Russia and became the first university in Nizhny Novgorod. Now it is considered to be among the best universities in the country. It trains more than forty thousand students doing their bachelor's and master's degrees. There are also postgraduate courses and shorter training programs.

Moscow State University, the oldest in Russia, was established in seventeen fifty-five. About four thousand students and postgraduates from all over the world enter Moscow State University every year. The university has a huge campus in one thousand buildings and structures. Its library system is one of the largest in Russia. It includes about nine million books, two million of which are in foreign languages. The university has faculties of Mechanics and Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Geology, History, Philology and Philosophy, as well as many others.
