Shall We Go to a Fast food Café?

Fast food has always been popular, espe-cially with young people and children. They have always liked their burgers and fizzy drinks. You can find fast food cafés and restaurants in most countries of the world, in almost all big cities. People come in and quickly have their lunches and dinners. They say they like such plac-es because it doesn't take them long to have a meal, the food is fairly tasty and you don't pay much money for it. But is this food really healthy? Can we say that it does more good than harm to people who eat it? We know quite well that taking drugs, smoking cigarettes and drinking a lot of alcohol is very dangerous. But eating junk food may be no less1 dangerous. That's why nowadays scientists talk a lot about eating prob-lems.

Some of them say that many people have become obese because they are fond of food like hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chips and so on2. And these are the things we usually buy and eat in fast food cafés. There is not enough fruit and vegetables on the menu and there is a lot of sugar in pies and cakes that you can buy there. This food is low in vitamins ['vɪtəmɪnz]. Eating such food regularly is risky and can be really danger-ous.
