• We use will or won't when we're not sure about something in the future and make predictions.

• To form sentences we use will + infinitive without to.

• The form is the same for all persons.

We don't use s in the third person.

• We don't use do/does in negative sentences.

• We use the first conditional to talk about possible situations and their consequences in the future.

• To form sentences we use If + subject + present simple for the situation, and subject + 'll / won't + infinitive for the consequence.

• To make the situation negative we use If + subject + don't / doesn't + present simple for the situation, and subject + 'll / won't + infinitive for the consequence.

• We can put the situation first or we can put the consequence first. If the situation comes first, we put a comma.

If we take action now, we will save the planet.

We don't put a comma if the consequence comes first.

We will save the planet if we take action now.
