1 When I'm at home, watching TV takes all of my time and I have no time for my lessons.	There are some silly programmes on TV, but if you don't like them, you can switch it off.
Most people get their news from TV.	If you feel down, bored or lonely, you can switch on the TV and you'll feel better...
People waste a lot of time watching rubbish: third-rate films, stupid talk shows and annoying adverts.	People have turned into slaves (рабы) of TV. They do not read and cannot communicate without TV.
Nowadays we cannot be well-informed without TV.	Because of TV, people are able to visit a lot of different places in the world, experience other cultures and learn about different people and events.
TV gives us many opportunities for education.	Because of TV, people don't do any sports.
