Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first ever Rax Souls, the back to front Oscars.

A lot of people have asked me, what we're here for? Another award ceremony, when there are so many out there already? Well, that's right. There are too many ceremonies which are all the same, but there aren't enough like ours.

We are a friendlier, fairer kind of ceremony and we've got a few rules that I know some of you aren't clear on, so I'll just tell you about them now. Those who have heard these before, you haven't got time to get to the bar, so please stay in your seats.

Firstly, no one who has won an Oscar can win a Rexo, and they can't attend our ceremony either.

Secondly, there is a strict dress code. No suits, ties or dresses. We want to see what people wear to relax in. It could be a lot more interesting.

Thirdly, the speeches will be shorter, apart from mine, of course.

And we've banned crying. What is it about crying in award ceremony speeches? Mind you, these people are actors, so there must be a suspicion that the tears aren't always genuine, a little like the smiles on the faces of the losers.
