Listen to the story about Professor again and complete the sentences.

A famous professor was the author of many books on physics research.

The professor was very clever but absent-minded.

He often forgot about very simple things.

One evening, a scientists club invited the professor to make a speech for its members.

The professor agreed.

On the day of the lecture, he left his house for the club in a hurry, and he hadn't taken his key.

After the lecture, the professor went home and noticed that he did not have his key, and he could not get in.

The professor sighed, but said to himself that he was lucky, because his wife was at home.

It was a very dark night, and when the professor's wife looked down from the window, she couldn't see who was standing there.

She said that the professor was not at home.

Then she explained that the professor was giving a lecture at the scientists club.

At that moment, the professor was thinking as usual, about his lectures and research.

He forgot that he was standing in front of his house.

Automatically, he replied that he was sorry and that he would come another time.

He turned around and went away.
