Puck and Harry.

Hi. I'm Puck from Thailand. In Thailand we go to school for ten months of the year. We have a holiday in April because it's the rainy season. In October we have another holiday because there are a lot of festivals. October is my favorite month.

The food here is very spicy and we always eat rice with our meals. My favorite meal is green curry with jasmine rice.

Our houses are very simple. They are two or three meters above the land on tall sticks, so they are protected from the monsoons.

I do Muay Thai, Thai boxing. It's our national sport and it's a great way to keep fit. On Sundays we go to the park to fly kites. Kite flying is a popular hobby here.

Most Thais are Buddhists. We have a quiet hour every day at school, when we sit with our eyes closed and meditate. All of our houses have statues of Buddha.

Hello. I'm Harry from Amsterdam in the Netherlands. People in Amsterdam live in houses, flats or houseboats. We've got a small house with a garden.

Dutch people love football. I play for the school team. I also like listening to music and playing guitar.

Food here is usually simple, but we've got a lot of foreign restaurants. I always have a big breakfast with bread, jam, cheese and eggs. But my favorite food is pea soup.

School finishes at two thirty, and then we are free. We have holidays at Easter, Christmas, and for a month and a half during the summer.

My family isn't religious, but most people here are Protestants.

Amsterdam is a small city with a lot of canals and narrow streets. I love living here because the people are friendly and there are a lot of things to see and do.
