Unit one.

Who am I?

Track one.

One.

We both belong to a rock band called The Starters. He's the drummer.

Listen, that's him. He's playing the drums now. We're doing really well these days. We're getting quite popular. But he always tells me that my singing is terrible.

Two.

He's one of the gang. In fact, he's probably my best friend's. It's funny, we never call him Patrick, he's just Paddy to us. He's a very modest guy.

Unfortunately, I don't see him very much now, but we often email each other. We're really interested in football. We're Arsenal fans, of course.

Three.

Paddy's a good lad, really. He's very hard working. He's the first member of our family to go to university. I come from Ireland and my wife's English, so he's half Irish, half English. I think Paddy's very proud to have some Irish blood in him.

Four.

I'm sixteen and Paddy's five years older than me. He hates the music I listen to and he doesn't like my friends. But he's okay. My brother's very talkative though. In fact, he never shuts up.

Five.

I'm really proud of Patrick. He's such a clever lad. He's in his last year at London University. He comes home to visit us in Brighton quite often. In fact, he's staying here at the moment because it's the Christmas holidays. He's always very cheerful. He really makes me laugh. I couldn't ask for a better son.

Six.

He's really romantic. He often buys me flowers and little surprise presents. And he's very clever too. He's studying law at London University.

I love him, but he's really busy, you see. He belongs to lots of clubs and societies like the Irish Club and he's always late.
