Listen to the young girl giving her opinion about life in a big city and in the country.

To be honest, living in a big city has its pros, but also cons as well. People have different opinions about big cities. Many of those who live there would give everything to have even a small summer house in the country. Others are delighted about what they already have. It's really difficult to have a precise opinion about the subject. It seems to me that one side is that living in a big city is more comfortable. You have a wide choice of places to go out in the evening, cinemas, theaters, museums for those who like culture. For fussers, shops on every corner, lots of pubs and restaurants to choose. And what is even more important, education, schools are incomparable with those in small towns or villages. Once more, we can choose whatever we want to. In a big city, people especially young have opportunities which are out of reach in the country. It's also much easier to find a well-paid job or at least any job. On the other hand, people in a big city are faceless. There is a very big competition, famous rat race. It's good, but sometimes might go too far. Faceless is good in some situations. For example, the volume of gossip is less than in a tiny town where people always know something about you from their friends who know it from their friends. And the most important subject, not only for teenagers, is what she did where two weeks ago. I hate it. But anyway, in spite of all those fascinating things about big cities, it isn't hard to find some disadvantages. Firstly, the pollution. Secondly, horrible noise. Except those we can find their more criminals like robbers or murderers. The more people, the more problems we have. I think that I wouldn't be able to live in a big city for all my life. The best solution for me is living in wilderness, but not too far from a big city.
