Arslan: 'When I was a child, I wanted to become a pilot, a vet or a journalist. It's hard work and I don't earn very much. I have to get up at six o'clock every morning and I often work until late in the evening. I was organising exhibitions and events, and also doing some office work. At the moment, I'm working for an animation film studio. I love my job! Unfortunately, it's only part-time. If only I could get a full-time job as an artist!'

Nursultan: 'I studied medicine at the Karaganda State Medical University and now I'm a trainee doctor. When I finish my training, I'll try to get a job in the hospital in my hometown, Zhezkazgan, or in the children's hospital in Almaty. You can't work in a hospital unless you have the right qualifications and experience. It can be challenging, but it's a very rewarding job. If you want to become a doctor, you have to study really hard, especially in the biology and chemistry classes. You have to be a caring, kind and confident person, and you must be able to remain calm in difficult situations. I'm confident enough, but I wish I were more patient! That's very important, especially when you work with young children.'
