Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is probably the best illustration of how a family conflict can cause a terrible tragedy.

The story starts in Verona. Two wealthy families, the Capulets and the Montagues, have been (1) __________ . Their fighting and duelling outrages the people of Verona.
