Speaker 1: So, tell me Jamie, are you ready for the trip?

Jamie: Oh, yes. I can show you where we're going on the map. We're flying from Heathrow to Katmandu in the Poll on the eleventh of June. The organizers are meeting us there and we're spending the night in a hotel. The next day, we're travelling to Lukla. We're picking up animals there.

Speaker 1: Animals? What you need animals?

Jamie: Our equipment is extremely heavy, so yaks, you know, they're a bit like big cows, are going to carry most of the luggage for us. Then, on the thirteenth, we're crossing the Kosi River, and the next day the mountain guides are meeting us at the National Park. We're spending three nights there. I'm really excited because you can see Mount Everest from there.

Speaker 1: I see. And then?

Jamie: Well, then on the twenty-first, we're camping on a glacier before the final trek to the Everest base camp. That's going to take two more days. We're going to have a big party when we get there. Then, on the twenty-fifth, we're returning to Katmandu.
