Explosives and heavy equipment enabled builders to create this huge dam.

The English Channel Tunnel, also known as the Channel, goes under the English Channel from Folkestone, England to Cockles, France. The project began in nineteen eighty-seven and was completed in nineteen ninety-four. The tunnel links Great Britain and mainland Europe. Using high-tech drilling equipment, workers bored through the ground from both ends.
